The Producer of Dhoom-2 Aditya Chopra says, “We expected that our film would be a big hit even before its release. The outcome is more encouraging than what we expected. It is running very successfully in centres where it was released. We released the film with 1500 prints across the world in Hindi, Telugu and Tamil languages. Not only in Hindi, the film is successful in south Indian languages as well.”

He also added, “Those who watched the first part of Dhoom had some expectations on the sequel and our film is above their expectations. Hence there has been a tremendous response. The way director Sanjay Gadhwi moulded it on the screen is quite novel and every frame is attracting the audiences. But for Hyderabad, the film was released in Telugu language at various places in Andhra Pradesh and it is getting very good response everywhere. To my knowledge, Dhoom-2 is the best among the sequels and there is no equivalent in the Indian film industry.”
